Unlike centralized power plants, the size of the photovoltaic power plant has little impact on the power generation efficiency, so the impact on its economy is also very small. The ROI rate of small photovoltaic systems is not lower than that of large ones.

2. Little pollution and outstanding benefits. Distributed photovoltaic power plant projects generate no noise during the power generation process, and will not pollute the air and water. However, it is necessary to pay attention to the coordinated development of distributed photovoltaics and the surrounding urban environment, and consider the public's concerns about the aesthetics of the urban environment when using clean energy.

3. It can relieve the local power shortage to some extent. Distributed photovoltaic power plants have the highest output during the day, which happens to be the time when people have the greatest demand for electricity. However, the energy density of distributed photovoltaic power plants is relatively low, and the power rate per square meter of distributed photovoltaic power plant systems is only about 100 watts. Coupled with the limitation of the roof area of buildings suitable for installing photovoltaic modules, distributed photovoltaic power plants cannot fundamentally solve the problem of power shortage.
