Isolation Effect Definition 

It refers to the phenomenon of an islanding power supply. When some lines of the power grid are powered off due to failures or maintenance, the powered-off lines continue to be supplied with electricity by the connected grid-connected power generation devices, and together with the surrounding loads, form an island that supplies power to itself. 

Anti-Islanding Detection Methods

Passive Detection: When the power grid loses power, there will be jump signals in the amplitude, frequency, and phase parameters of the grid voltage. By detecting these jump signals, it can be judged whether the power grid has lost power. 

Active Detection: It means generating small interference signals to the power grid parameters, and judging whether the power grid has lost power by detecting the feedback signals.
